Dr. Natasha Oates New Director of Nursing

Natasha Oates, EdD, MSN, RN, has returned to Menorah Park as the new head of nursing, effective October 2022.  As Director of Nursing, her responsibilities include setting policies and procedures, hiring qualified staff, leading the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans for residents, initiating quality improvement measures, reviewing admissions, fostering relations with the union, and will be the front-line contact with the NYS Department of Health.

Dr. Oates received her doctorate in Education and Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher College and her MS in Nursing Administration from Roberts Wesleyan College, both in Rochester, New York.  Along the way, she trained and placed Certified Nurses’ Aides (CNAs) at Menorah Park.

She’s worked as a quality assurance and training manager, director of nursing, occupational health nurse, clinical coordinator, and registered nurse at several local hospitals and senior facilities, including training CNAs at Menorah Park.

“Finding the perfect fit for our continuum-of-care campus was made easy when Natasha put her name forward,” said Russ D’Amico, Menorah Park CEO.  “She’s a familiar face and brings new skills, having earned her EdD, all while working full-time as a registered nurse.  We’re so pleased she’s a key member of the team.”
