New Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing Services of the Jewish Home of CNY

Jacinta Vondell, RN, BSN, has joined Menorah Park as Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Nursing Services at The Jewish Home of CNY, effective January 2024.  As someone who has cared for senior relatives with Alzheimer’s and with strokes, her focus on seniors has emphasized safety, respect, dignity, and the building of relationships with residents and their families.

Vondell received her RN from SUNY Columbia-Greene Community College and her BSN from Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester.  She’s also received certifications from the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing.  She is a Certified Director of Nursing Services (DNS-CT) and has RAC-CT and QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) certifications for continuous growth and sustained performance improvement, as well as Wound Care.
