Join SJFS Assistant Director, Ellen Somers, for these monthly educational sessions designed to help promote better understanding of the impact of dementia on the affected individual, family members and caregivers. Attend them in sequence or individually.

What types of problems often accompany cognitive changes and what are some of the non-medical interventions that can help?

Chapter 4: Building on Strengths: June 24
What skills often remain relatively intact for a person with dementia? How do you build on those strengths to support the person?
