At this time Menorah Park has no other confirmed cases of COVID-19 on our campus which includes the Terrace, the Inn, and the Oaks.
Family Visits
We appreciate how anxious our families are to come to visit. As you know, we are a regulated organization. In order to ensure our residents’ safety, we are required to follow and meet specific conditions issued to us by the New York State Department of Health. The earliest that we will be able to accept visitors will be Monday, July 27th IF we are able to meet all of the NYSDOH’s criteria by that date. If we cannot, we will delay visitation until we can open safely. If at any time we have another positive COVID case, we will have to suspend all visits for at least 28 days. We will continue to update you as we finalize our visitation process.
Staff Testing
Governor Cuomo’s executive order requiring all nursing home staff to be tested on a weekly basis has been extended to August 9.
Regular Mail Delivery Resumes
Due to the low risk of infection, we will no longer be holding residents’mail for 4 days. It will be distributed upon receipt.
