Update: November 9
As of Sunday, November 8, we have two confirmed COVID-positive staff members: 1 from the Jewish Home and 1 from the Inn. Both staff members have begun the self-quarantine process. They will not return to work until cleared by their health care provider.
Per NYSDOH guidelines we must suspend ALL visits to the Jewish Home/Terrace and the Inn for a 14-day waiting period after which we resume visits provided that we do not have any new cases. The earliest we would be able to resume visits would be Sunday, November 22.
If you had a visit scheduled in the next two weeks, you will be receiving a call or an email cancellation notification. Please continue to use the online tool to book future appointments.
Virtual Visits
SJFS will continue to work with you to assist with video chats or phone calls TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITIES with priority being given to families who live out-of-town.
Please contact your assigned SJFS staff person; if you do not have an assignment, you may contact Ellen Somers, Asst. Director at [email protected]
Dropping Items Off for Residents
Families are still welcome to drop off items for their loved ones at the main entrance.
