Menorah Park Institutes No Visitor Policy

We know many of you are concerned about the spread of novel COVID-19 (the new coronavirus) and how it may impact us here at Menorah Park. Ensuring residents are cared for in a safe and healthy environment is our first priority. We are working closely with our medical team to guide and educate our staff on the most current, up-to-date infection control policies and procedures. Based on their expertise, we continue to implement a variety of steps to help reduce the potential for the virus to enter campus buildings.

We have instituted a “No Visitor Policy“. We are posting signs on our entryway doors to notify visitors of this policy and actively screening individuals, including staff, who need to come into the building.

We understand that this creates a challenge connecting with your loved ones, especially as things are changing so quickly. To address this, Syracuse Jewish Family Service has established a communications team to answer your non-medical questions concerning your loved ones as well as any updates to facility policy. Our team will be in regular contact with residents. This is to reassure you and your family member that your concerns and questions are being addressed. Please direct any questions to 315.446.9111, extension 226 or via email at: [email protected]

Regarding your loved ones’ health, our nurse managers will continue to update you regarding any important information or changes in their condition.
