New Executive Director at The Oaks/New Case Manager at The Inn
Two new appointments were just announced at Menorah Park:
Lisa Christine Merrill was named as executive director of The Oaks at Menorah Park on March 20. Her responsibilities will include ensuring a safe and welcoming place for independent seniors, as well as managing her team there. She was most recently case manager at The Inn at Menorah Park, where she worked with families and residents at the assisted living facility to ensure quality care and individualized service plans.
Merrill, who also served as interim director of the Inn in 2021 as well as activities director, has almost 12 years in the senior healthcare field. Prior to working at Menorah Park, she worked as community relations manager at Greenpoint in Liverpool.
Merrill has a BS in Recreation and Leisure Studies from SUNY Cortland.
Gillian Riggall was named case manager at The Inn at Menorah Park on March 20. Her responsibilities will include working with residents and families to ensure quality care and individualized service plans. She was most recently the case manager at Syracuse Jewish Family Service (SJFS), where she worked closely with residents as they transitioned through Menorah Park’s continuum of care, as well as assisting residents by coordinating required services.
Riggall, who also served as a social worker as well as a program associate at SJFS, has four years in the senior healthcare field. Prior to working at Menorah Park, she worked as a graduate intern at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.
Riggall has a master’s in social work from Syracuse University, as well as a BS in human services from Cazenovia College.
