Visitation Hours & Guidelines

At The Jewish Home of CNY and The Inn, we are dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for both our residents and their loved ones. To ensure the well-being of everyone, we’ve established the following visitation guidelines.

Visitation Hours
Our recommended visiting hours are designed to accommodate the diverse needs of families and friends while ensuring our residents receive the care they need.

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  Special arrangements can be made for visits outside of these hours. Please contact our nursing team in advance to discuss any specific needs.

Visitation Guidelines:

• Visitor Check-in: All visitors must check in at the front desk upon arrival for security and health safety. You will be provided with a visitor pass for the duration of your visit.
• Health & Safety Protocols: To protect the health of our residents, visitors must follow all safety protocols, including hand hygiene, mask-wearing (as applicable), and any other guidelines put in place by our nursing staff.
• Kosher Observance: We ask that all guests, staff, and residents observe Kosher Law while in the facility. For your comfort and privacy, we offer specially designated non- kosher visitation areas upon request. In addition, residents can choose to meet guests in their rooms, or in our outdoor garden spaces, weather permitting.
• Virtual Visits: For those who are unable to visit in person, we are happy to arrange virtual visits through video calls. Please contact us to schedule your preferred time.

Holiday & Special Event Visits
During major holidays or special events, we may have adjusted visiting hours. Non- Kosher spaces are available for booking special events.

Visitor Etiquette
We ask that all visitors treat our residents, facility and staff with the utmost respect. Please be mindful of our residents’ daily routines and avoid any disruptions to their care. We kindly ask that you refrain from visiting if you feel unwell or have been in contact with anyone showing signs of illness.

Observance of Kosher Law

The Jewish Home of CNY is a fully Kosher facility. Your observance of Kosher is kindly requested when visiting the facility. Specific areas of the facility, including your loved ones’ room, are available to you and your loved ones to enjoy non- Kosher food items. Please inquire with the reception team about additional non-kosher spaces throughout campus.
